Devera Hotel

Rooms only lost a star for being a little dated (compared to a handful of other hotels in the area that have some seniority, this one is top shelf) , other than that everything you need. People are great, and the location is about as good as it gets equal-distant from SM Mall one direction and Walking Street the other...stone's throw from a nice grocery store for supplies and Margarita Station with is my breakfast go to and 24 hour food/drink destination if needed. They used to have a restaurant but the pandemic forced closure, I'm not sure they will ever bring it back.... Great place to stay....true value.

We are from Quezon City. On May 12, 2023, we went to Pangpanga to rest because we have not slept for 24 hours because my husband is a doctor and I am pregnant. We are so busy that we need to rest. We were supposed to book at abc hotel but abc hotel is already full. I saw the real hotel so I immediately called and booked a room. When I paid, we left to eat first. I made a reservation at 12:30. The staff told me that if we enter early, we have to pay 500 pesos. I was surprised because it was almost 2pm. I already paid the 500 pesos so that I don't get stressed. and so we can rest. As for their guard, we don't know why he was so angry with us and made fun of us. We were parked properly, we were even moved. we moved so there would be no trouble when we went up to the room. we slept for 2 hours and my husband came down. when he came down he saw the parking lot where it was forbidden to park, someone was already parked. so we ignored it. we extended one more day. Every time we go out, the guard looks at us and our car. He said that it was our last day at the hotel. The manager did nothing, not even saying that he was sorry for what his staff did. Their room is non-smoking but smells like cigarettes. I am pregnant and I have a 2 year old son. we cough cough they don't care. if I hadn't complained they wouldn't have taken care of us. even the room is disgusting and the water is blocking the drainage. The room smelled like cigarettes. please don't book here if you want a good hotel don't stay here. Their manager doesn't care, he still takes sides with his staff even though it's wrong. be careful of their guard, they will challenge you to a fight

The staff efficiently carries out their duties, but the hotel suffers from poor facility conditions, making it inconvenient to use. ・There's only one elevator, resulting in slow movement between floors. ・karaoke bar nearby that can be noisy until around 2 a.m. ・The rooms are smaller than expected given the price and the bed is extremely hard spring. •There are large gaps in the curtains, allowing streetlight to enter and disturb sleep. •The Wi-Fi is slow, and it disconnects frequently, making it unreliable. Despite these issues, if you're planning a short-term transit stay, it might be worth considering during the off-season when prices are lower.
